One person, one trailer, and a round that kept growing
Prestige Property Care is a lawn, garden and property maintenance business operating from Frankston VIC 3199. It is owned and run by Dave Coelho, and it covers Frankston, the Frankston City suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula.
The business grew the way these ones tend to: one property, then the neighbour, then their sister in Seaford. Nearly all of it came from people telling someone else that we turned up when we said we would. That is not a marketing line, it is just what happens in this trade when most operators do not.
What has not changed as the round has grown is who does the work. There are no subcontractors and no rotating crews. The person who quotes your property is the person standing in it on the day, which is why nobody ever has to be told twice about the side gate, the dog, or the bed of natives that is not to be trimmed.
How we price
Fixed quotes, given free after we have seen the property. Not an hourly rate. An hourly rate rewards working slowly and leaves you watching the clock from the kitchen window, which is a strange way to run a relationship with someone who is at your house every fortnight.
If a job turns out to be bigger than it looked, we tell you before we start rather than after we finish. And if what you actually need is not something we do, we say so — you are better off with the right trade than with us having a go at it.

You get a day and we keep to it. If weather moves a job we call you, rather than leaving you to work it out from the uncut lawn.
The waste leaves with us
Clippings, prunings, gutter debris. On the trailer and off the property the same day, every time.
We finish the detail
Edges cut, paths blown, gates closed. The last ten minutes of a job are what people actually remember.

Including when a hedge is better done over two visits, or when the thing you are worried about does not need doing at all.
